Rod Cedaro has a diverse professional career.
After graduating from university he taught Phys. Ed. before returning to studies and obtaining a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology. While studying he competed as an elite endurance athlete winning national titles in triathlon and duathlon and setting a course record at the Brisbane Marathon.
Rod Cedaro then began a career in exercise science which saw him consult to organisations including the AIS, AOC and IOC and various Sports Institutes around the world.
Rod Cedaro Background
Leaving elite sport Rod moved into facility design, management, marketing and corporate wellness working with various organisations including Wesley Corporate Health, The Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre and Aurizon Pty. Ltd. At the same time he became involved in the development of innovative health promotion products with his business partner, iconic Australian Surf Iron Man champion, Guy Leech.
Forming Health Innovations Group Pty. Ltd. (H.I.G.) they have developed education tools around health promotion/education, the flagship product being a scaleable, world first, 25 week behavioural change program focussing on weight management. To date this program has helped >20,000 subscribers improve their long term health and weight management outcomes. Rod has acted as the Co-Director and Business Development Manager for H.I.G. since the company’s inception.
H.I.G. is currently working closely with a major Australian brand to roll-out this landmark program nationally as the largest community health promotion initiative ever seen in Australia.
Rod Cedaro Altitude Services
Rod’s managerial skills and innovative approaches have also seen him retained in the capacity as GM for the start up company (commencing October 2013) Altitude Services Pty. Ltd. – a company dedicated to providing turn-key exercise science and altitude simulation solutions to human and equine athletes throughout the world.
